We offer regular samba classes in The Hague on Thursday evenings. The classes are independent drop-in classes, meaning that you can join anytime! Classes are open to all levels, so everyone is welcome to join!
If you have always wanted to try samba, if you are one of our loyal students, or if you already dance samba but you want even more enrichment, we are inviting all of you to come dance with us. The energy in our classes is amazing and very supportive. If it is your first time, we encourage you to come try and see for yourself.
Every class works with a different theme. We always practice technique, samba, choreography steps, walks and group formation. All classes are taught by Rio-trained samba dancer Julia Solis, who works with samba artists from Rio de Janeiro all year round to offer you the very best each class.

New in August: Samba Lab
This August we are adding an extra weekly class on Tuesday. This class will follow a new concept: Samba Lab. The purpose of this class is to work your creativity and connect deeper with the dance. You will be empowered and encouraged to use your own creativity. With support and structure, you will start to learn how to create for yourself.
This class is perfect for those who want to go a little bit further with the material. Some experience with samba is recommended, and it is especially advised to combine this class with the Thursday class (there is a discount pack available in the booking system). This way you will use the foundations and techniques that you learn in the Thursday class and start to make them your own. See below for upcoming class dates.
