The Passista - icon of Samba, the one who carries the beat of the drums in her feet and the rhythm in her hips. Get ready to sweat as we explore Samba of the Passista: strong, sensual and expressive. With her strong foundation in tradition, flawless technique and dominating presence, Mayara illustrates what it means to be a Passista, to be both an artist and an athlete. Mayara has an extensive history in Samba as a dancer, Passista, director of Passistas and owner of her own dance school.

In order to make this very special workshop happen, Valentina and Julia joined forces to create this co-production of Samba Convivencia (Belgium) and Viva Samba (the Netherlands).

Class will be in Samberstraat 7 in Antwerp. There will be two workshops:

10:30-12:00 Samba De Malandragem

12:30-14:00 Samba Da Passista

For the first 10 bookings we have an early bird discount available: 35 euros per workshop and 60 euros for the full pass. After the first 10 bookings, prices will be 40 euros per workshop and 65 euros for the full pass.
