Yes he is really coming back! After an amazing first visit to the Netherlands last year, George Louzada is coming back once more to teach a masterclass. Join us for an evening of samba in the Hague where you will have the chance to dance with one of Rio’s finest.

George Louzada is a renowned director, choreographer, dancer and artist from Rio de Janeiro. He has won numerous awards for his work. George is the director of the Ala das Passistas (the passistas are the official dancers of a samba school) of samba school Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel and samba school União do Parque Acari.

The passistas of Mocidade have won various awards of the years, and in 2025 won two awards for best ala of passistas in grupo especial (grupo especial is the highest league of schools competing in carnaval). This masterclass will be hosted and translated by Julia Solis, one of the passistas of Mocidade.
